A Sweet Time of the Year...

The Spring skiing at Loon is still amazing with 3 peaks and 42 trails open. And with 3" of new snow on the peaks in the past 48 hours, there is still plenty of snow to have a great time!

Speaking of a Sweet Time- The New Hampshire Maple Festival is March 27 & 28 in Lincoln. Join in the many activities this weekend:
Saturday, 3/27- Pancake breakfast at Indian Head Resort. Followed by fun & games at Cascade Park in North Woodstock.
Saturday Eve 3/27- Maple Festival Dinner Ball at the Beacon Resort
Sunday, 3/28- Pancake breakfast at the Woodstock Inn- and pancake eating contest.
Sunday 3/28- 10 am. Maple Parade- Main Street, North Woodstock

REMINDERS:
* This is the last weekend that the South Peak Resort Owners' Warming Hut will be open (10-3 Sat & Sun). We will close for the season after Sunday 3/28. Thanks to all the Hut visitors for making the Warming Hut such a fun and inviting place to welcome friends and neighbors. The Lodge Mom appreciates you. :)
* This is also the last weekend for the South Peak Resort Shuttle Service

Spring Apres Ski Party

The Loon Mountain Groomers are doing a fantastic job on the trails this spring! Despite very little snow in the valley, the slopes are in great shape and the sun is shining- presenting us with perfect spring skiing conditions. Join us this Saturday, March 13 for a South Peak Owner Apres Ski Party at the South Peak office from 4-6 pm. Wine, Beer, Cheese & Crackers. Catch up with your South Peak neighbors and meet new ones! Sat. March 13- Kostick Kup at Loon Mountain. This is a great fundraising event for New England Disabled Sports. NEDS enhances the quality of life of individuals with disabilities through outdoor recreation within a supportive boundary-free environment. Race registration begins at 8 am. Dinner, awards and auction starts at 5pm at the Beacon in Lincoln. Visit www.nedisabledsports.org for more information or to make a donation. REMINDERS:
Daylight Savings Time is this Saturday, March 13. Don't forget to SPRING AHEAD! This is a good time to change batteries in your smoke & CO2 detectors as well as your thermostat batteries.
